RUDACIL
Mrs. Ruth Beckerdite Rudacil, 97, died Sunday, June 23, 2002, at Salemtowne. She was born May 11, 1905, in Forsyth County to the late Hugh Lawson and Claudia Fisher Beckerdite. Mrs. Rudacil was married to Roy Rudacil for more than 50 years; he preceded her in death. She attended Salem College and worked for Hanes Hosiery for over 50 years in the payroll department. She was a longtime member of Ardmore Moravian Church. Surviving are two nephews, Lawrence Masten and Marvin Beckerdite of Winston-Salem; and a niece, Billie Rose Robertson of Hickory. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Moravian Graveyard by the Rev. Kevin Frack. The family will receive friends after the service. Memorials may be made to Ardmore Moravian Church, 2013 W. Academy St., Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
