MISS BOSTIAN IS MARRIED TO MR. GUY GOWDY

Ot will be a surprise to many of Miss Dorothy Louise Bostian’s friends to learn of her marriage to Mr. Guy E. Gowdy, of Fort Pierce, Fla., which took place at high noon today at the Presbyterian church. The simple ceremony was performed by Rev. Dr. R. F. Campbell. The couple approached the rostrum unattended. The bride was dressed in a smart street frock of midnight blue charmeen trimmed with grey, and wore a hat of a lighter shade of blue combined with silver. Shoes, gloves and other accessories complemented her costume and she carried a Colonial bouquet of delphinium and sweetheart roses. Mrs. Gowdy is a graduate nurse of Biltmore Hospital, having finished her training there the past spring. She was a resident of Biltmore and has many friends in Asheville.

The young couple left immediately after the ceremony for a honeymoon by motor through the mountains. After two or 3 weeks spent in various resorts throughout the western part of the state. Mr. and Mrs. Gowdy will spend the early fall at a lodge owned by Mr. Gowdy on Pisgah. With the first of November, however, they will go to Florida and make their home in Forth Pierce.
