Keith-Bunn Vows Are Solemnized
CONCORD, Aug. 13. – The wedding of Miss Daphne Bunn to John A. Keith was solemnized Wednesday morning in the Methodist church at Mount Pleasant. The wedding music was rendered by Miss Yvonne Bunn, sister of the bride, pianist and Miss Virginia McAllister, vocalist.
The bride and bridegroom entered together, Rev. Mr. G. W. Clay, pastor of the bride, performed the ceremony. The bride was attired in a dress of navy corded chiffon with quaint white lingerie trim and navy accessories. Her flowers were gardenias and valley lilies.
Mrs. Keith is the eldest daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Justice J. Bunn of Mount Pleasant. She attended the public schools of Mount Pleasant, Charlotte, and Church Roads, Va., where her grandparents have made their home for a number of years. Her college work was done at Mount Pleasant Collegiate Institute and Newberry college, Newberry, S. C. For the last year she has been employed in the Concord office of the Prudential Life Insurance company.
Mr. Keith is the only son of Mrs. W. W. Keigh and the late Mr. Keith of Charleston, S. C. He attended the Charleston schools and Newberry college, and is connected with a wholesale hardware company in Charleston. After a short wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Keith will be at home on James Island, Charleston, S. C.

Retired Teacher Daphne B. Keith Dies; Funeral Today
Daphne Bunn Keith of 1321 North and South Road, James Island, a retired Charleston County schoolteacher and widow of John Alexander Keith, died Thursday in a local hospital.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. today in St. James Episcopal Churchyard, James Island. Burial will be directed by Stuhr’s.
Mrs. Keith was born April 15, 1917, in Mount Pleasant, N.C., a daughter of Dr. Justus J. Bunn and Lucile Kindley Bunn. She attended Newberry College and was a graduate of The Citadel. She had taught at St. John’s High School on John’s Island, and was a special education teacher at Angel Oak Elementary School on John’s Island. She was a life member of the South Carolina Congress of Parents and Teachers Inc. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, where she had served as a former organist.
Surviving are a son, Willis J. Keith of James Island; two sisters, Barbara Bunn Ewing and Yvonne Bunn Irvin, both of Concord, N.C.; and four grandchildren.
