Student Life

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church opened across the street from the Mount Pleasant Female Seminary (later Mont Amoena) in 1872 and served the spiritual needs of the students. It became an integral part of seminary-related activities and the pastors typically served as professors and principals. Click on the image above to read a history of Holy Trinity by Dr. R.
