RICHARDSON-FOIL

Miss Anna Foil and Mr. Frank Richarson Married Saturday at Mount Pleasant.

A wedding characterized by its beauty and simplicity was solemnized Saturday evening at Mount Pleasant at 6 o’clock when Miss Anna Foil, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Foil, became the bride of Mr. Frank Richardson, of Lowell. The ceremony was performed by Rev. N. R. Richardson, father of the groom, assisted by W. C. Lyerly, pastor of the bride, and took place at the home of the bride’s father.

Preceding the ceremony Miss Merrie Richardson, sister of the groom, sang “I Love You,” and the wedding party entered to the tune of Lohengrin’s Wedding March, played by Mrs. M. A. Foil. Eight young ladies, members of the Entre Nous Club, of which the bride was a member, acted as bridesmaids.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Foil, and by her many accomplishments and fine personality has made many friends everywhere she is known. Mr. Richardson is principal of the Lowell High School, and has a host of friends here and elsewhere throughout the State. He is a graduate of Trinity College, and lived in Mount Pleasant for a number of years.

Immediately after the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride, and about 100 guests were present. After the reception Mr. and Mrs. Richardson left for Rocky Mount, where they will spend the holidays with Mrs. Richardson’s sister, Mrs. W. C. Proctor.
