Miss Ethel B. Gnann

STILLWELL – Miss Ethel B. Gnann, 95, died Wednesday at Effingham County Hospital after a long illness.

The Stillwell native was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Rincon and W.E.L.C.A. She was a former employee of Seaboard Coastline Railroad, former beauty shop owner, and a retired postmaster of Stillwell Post Office. She was a graduate of Mount Amoena College in Mount Pleasant, N.C.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Olive Griffin of Atlanta, Mrs. Claire Williams of New Orleans, La., and Mrs. Mary G. Hutto of Stillwell; a brother, Cecil B. Gnann of Stillwell; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Johns Lutheran Church, burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Stillwell.
