Mary Hutto

STILWELL, Ga. – Services for Mary Gnann Hutto, 96, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday a t St. Johns Lutheran Church, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church or the American Cancer Society. Thomas C. Strickland Funeral Home, Springfield Chapel, is in charge.

Ms. Hutto died Thursday, Jan. 5, 1995. Born in Effingham County, Ga., she was a daughter of Cletus Bertody and Effie Bernon Groover Gnann. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church and Women of the Evangelical Church of America.

Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ethel Derrick of Lexington; a son, Francis Hutto Jr. of Grand Junction, Colo.; sisters, Claire Williams of New Orleans and Olive Griffin of Tybee Island, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
