MISS LILLIAN B. HEILIG WEDS EDGAR D. SKINNER
MT. PLEASANT, Feb. 28 – The marriage of Miss Lillian Boger Hellig to Edgar Durant Skinner, of Rocky Mount, Wednesday, was solemnized in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church this morning at 10 o’clock.
The bride entered with her father, Clarence G. Heilig.
She was met at the altar by the groom, who had entered with his brother, Olin Harold Skinner, of Charleston, S. C.
The impressive ring ceremony of the Lutheran church was performed by Rev. C. L. T. Fisher, pastor of the bride.
Immediately following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Skinner left for a brief bridal trip by motor, after which they will go to Rocky Mount, where they will reside.

Mrs. Lillian Heilig Skinner, 78, of Rocky Mount, died Monday following an illness of several months.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Gordon-Penninger Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant by Rev. Donald Deal officiating. Burial will follow in the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
Born in Mt. Pleasant on March 16, 1894, Mrs. Skinner was the daughter of the late C. G. Heilig and Emma Berrier Heilig. She attended Mount Amoena (sic) Seminary in Mt. Pleasant.
Survivors include her husband, Edgar D. Skinner; a daughter, Mrs. R. Lee Rogers of Smithfield; three sons, the Rev. Harold G. Skinner of Greenville, S.C.; Edgar D. Skinner Jr. of Lincolnton, and Clarence G. Skinner of Richmond, Va.; a sister, Mrs. Roy Peterson of Charlotte; and 7 grandchildren.
