VIVIAN MISENHEIMER AND WILLIAM BURRAGE MARRIED
A wedding of much interest throughout this section of the state was that of Miss Vivian Misenheimer of Richfield and Mr. William Burrage of Rocky Mount, N. C., which was solemnized in private ceremony in Richfield Lutheran church at 8 o’clock Monday evening, June 16.
Miss Mary Katherine Fisher of Salisbury, played the wedding music. Prior to the ceremony Miss Anzonetta Fisher sang, “I Love You Truly.” “To a Wild Rose” was played softly during the ceremony.
To the strains of Lohengrin’s wedding march the bride and bride-groom entered together. There were no attendants. The bride was becomingly attired in a dress of rose taupe crepe and lace, with a hat of horse-hair braid to match. Her shoulder corsage was of pink roses and valley lillies.
Mrs. Burrage is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. R. Misenheimber of Richfield, and a sister of Mrs. J. L. Fisher of Salisbury. She was educated at Mont Amoena seminary, Mt. Pleasant, N. C., and for a number of years has been an efficient teacher in the schools of Rowan and Stanly county. During the past year she was a member of the Kannapolis school faculty.
Mr. Burrage is a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Burrage of near Richfield. For 15 years he has made his home in Rocky Mount where he is a mechanical engineer for the railroad.
After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Burrage left for a honeymoon in Florida and other southern states. For traveling she wore a gray and blue printed ensemble with navy blue hat. After June 26, they will be at home 20 School street, Rocky Mount, N. C.
