Setzler-Gordon

Pomaria, May 15. – One of the most important events to take place in the little city was the marriage of Miss Ida Mae Setzler to S. C. Gordon of Andrews on Wednesday evening at 8:30 o’clock, only a few of the immediate family being present. The bride, who is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Setzler, is an accomplished young woman with a host of friends who regret to give her up. Mr. Gordon is with the Tuten Hardware company in Andrews.

The parlor in which the ceremony was performed was decorated in smilax and roses. The ring service was carried out, the ring being presented by Mary Rebecca, the bride’s youngest sister.

After the ceremony the guests were invited to the dining room, where a salad course was served, followed by cream and cake. The happy couple left on the 10 o’clock train for points of interest.
