MRS. LUCY B. NEAL

Concord. – Mrs. Lucy Barrier Neal, 59, wife of Sanford S. Neal, Concord’s assistant postmaster, died Wednesday night at her home.

Funeral services will be held at the home Friday after noon at 4 o’clock, and burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

The daughter of the late D. Frank and Lenora Krider Barrier, Mr.s Neal was born in Cabarrus County February 21 1885. She was educated at Mont Amoena Seminary. Mt. Pleasant and at Claremont College. On November 23, 1904, she was married to Mr. Neal of Greensboro. Surviving are her husband. S. S. Neal; three sons, all of whom are serving in the armed forces of the United States, Sanford S. Neal, Jr., stationed at Seymour Johnson Field, Goldsboro; Frank Hill Neal, stationed at Camp Cook, Cal, and Wylie Moore Neal, with the Navy, South Brooklyn, N Y.; one sister, Mrs. C. L. Sappenfield of Gastonia.
