Wedding of Miss Bost—The Elk Reception Last Night Told Briefly in This Column.

The town and entire county will be interested in the approaching marriage of Miss Annie Marie Bost, of Bost Mill, which is to take place on Wednesday, the 28th, inst. to Mr. Thomas Landquist, of Winston-Salem. The ceremonies will take place at the residence of the bride’s sister, Mrs. J. W. Cannon, on North Union street at 9 o’clock a. m., invitations having been issued to a large number of friends to attend. Miss Bost is the daughter of the late Martin L. Bost, one of the most charming and attractive young women of the county, exceedingly popular throughout Cabarrus.

Mrs. Landquist

The funeral of Mrs. Annie Bost Landquist, 91, of 2060 Craig Street, widow of Thomas Landquist, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Voglers Chapel by Dr. J. C. Hughes. Burial will be in the Moravian Graveyard.

The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.

Mrs. Landquist died yesterday while visiting a daughter, Mrs. William Brame of North Wilkesboro.

She spent her early life near Concord. She attended the Concord schools and also attended the Littleton College for Women and Girls in Newberry, S.C.

She came to Winston-Salem after her marriage to Mr. Landquist in 1904. He owned and operated the Landquist Drug Store at the corner of Main and Shallowford streets here for many years. He died in 1955.

Mrs. Landquist was a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Home Moravian Church.

Included in the survivors are three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
