Mrs. Shive
Mrs. Maude Bost Shive, of 430 Brookwood Ave. NE, Concord, died this morning at Concord Nursing Center.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Howell Baptist Church cemetery with the Rev. J. D. Griffin and Rev. Timothy Wolf officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and will be at the residence the remaining time.

A retired school teacher, Mrs. Shive was born in Cabarrus County to the late Daniel Webster and Mollie Barbee Bost. She was a member of Brookdale Baptist Church. Her husband was the late Jay R. Shive Sr.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jane S. McCombs of Winston-Salem; a son, Jay R. Shive Jr. of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Allman of Concord, Mrs. Ada Wright of Washington, D. C., and three grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the LIFE Center through Central United Methodist Church.
