MRS. AMY BROWN FRY
ALBEMARLE, N. C. – MRS. AMY BROWN FRY, AGE 87, of 520 East St. in Albemarle, N. C. Died Friday, July 7, 1972 at 5:45 P.M. at the N.C. LUTHERAN HOME in Albemarle, N. C. She was born August 25, 1884 in Rowan County, daughter of the late Nathan and Rosa Agner Brown of Rowan Co. She was educated in the Rowan County Schools and was a graduate of the Mount Amena [sic] Seminary in Mount Pleasant, N.C. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Albemarle, N. C. She was married to the late S. R. Fry, and he preceded her in death in 1945. She is survived by three sons, Paul B. Fry of Albemarle, Dr. Glenn A. Fry of Columbus, Ohio, and Dr. James M. Fry of China Grove, N.C., two daughters, Mrs. James M. Skidmore and Mrs. Keith Wolf, both of Albemarle, one sister, Mrs. Luther A. Thomas of Lincolnton, N. C. Eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 3:30 Sunday July 9, at First Presbyterian Church in Albemarle, N. C. conducted by Rev. J. Harold McKeithan Jr. assisted by Rev. William E. Hall. Graveside services 5 P.M. at the Christiana Lutheran Church in Rowan Co.
