Miss Cline

CONCORD – Funeral services for Miss Lillian Lee Cline, 85, a former school teacher, will be conducted at 11c a.m. Wednesday at St. James Lutheran Church, of which she was a member. The Rev. T. C. Plexico will officiate and interment will follow in St John’s Lutheran Churh Cemetery.

The body will remain at Wilkinson’s Funeral Home until taken to the church at the funeral hour and the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 until 9 p.m. today.

Miss Cline died Monday at the N. C. Lutheran Home Hickory, where she had lived for several years. A life-time resident of Cabarrus County in the St. John’s Community, Miss Cline was a daughter of the late Martin L. Cline and Mrs. Julia Victoria Fisher Cline.

Miss Cline was educated at Mt. Amoena Seminary and Catawba College. She had taught school in the Concord City Schools, Cabarrus County Schools, the Mooresville Schools and Mt. Amoena Seminary, prior to retirement 15 years ago. She was an active member of the Lutheran Church Women.

Surviving are a brother, Harry E. Cline of Cabarrus County and a number of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
