Lucile Williams
Lucile Cline Williams, 89, a former resident of South Main Street, died Friday, Dec. 25, 1992, in Ridgeway, S. C.

Services are planned for 11 a.m. Monday at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. David Keck will officiate, and burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends today from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was born Nov. 10, 1903, in Kannapolis to the late William Jacob and Lula Bost Cline.

She taught third grade in Kannapolis City Schools and attended Mont Amoena Seminary in Mt. Pleasant, Greensboro College and Bolling Green Business College. She was a member of Kimball Lutheran Church in Kannapolis.

She was preceded in death by her husband Willis Wayne “Bill” Williams.

Survivors include two daughters, Dr. Elnora Stuart of Blythewood, S. C., Mrs. Margie W. Goodnuff of Edina, Minn.; a sister, Miss Mary Emma Cline of Kannapolis; three grandchildren.

KANNAPOLIS – Lucile Cline Williams, 89, of Ridgeway, S. C. and former resident of South Main Street, Kannapolis, died Friday, Dec. 25, 1992, in Ridgeway, S. C.

Born Nov. 10. 1903, in Kannapolis, she was the daughter of the late William Jacob and Lula Bost Cline. She was a former third grade teacher for the Kannapolis City Schools. She attended Mont Ameona Seminary in Mt. Pleasant, Greensboro College and Bowling Green Business College. She was a member of the Kimball Lutheran Church and was married to the late Willis Wayne “Bill” Williams.
