Mr. Paul Hahn, son of Mr. John T. Hahn, and Miss Maddie Crowell, daughter of Mr. H. C. Crowell, all of Mt. Pleasant, were married at the home of the bride Sunday morning at 9:30 o’clock, by Rev. J. P. Price.

Mrs. Hahn

CONCORD — Mrs. Madie Crowell Hahn, 86, died Saturday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Charles A. Cook of 134 West Depot street, with whom she resided.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. today at Mt. Gilead Lutheran Church, Mt. Pleasant, by the Rev. J. D. Lindler. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers.

The body was taken from Wilkinson Funeral Home to the residence Saturday at 5 p.m., and will lie in state at the church 30 minutes prior to services.

Mrs. Hahn, a native of Cabarrus county, was the daughter of the late Harris and Lundie Furr Crowell. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Paul A. Hahn.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Charles A. Cook of Concord and Mrs. Floyd B. Moose of Mt. Pleasant; two sons, John M. Hahn of Rockwell and Paul A. Hahn Jr. of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Miller of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Lewis C. Ridenhour of Concord; four brothers, Ed Crowell and Sid Crowell, both of Oakboro, Lee Crowell of Statesville and John Crowell of Mt. Pleasant; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
