Miss Davis and Robert Griffin Marry Nov. 24th
Young Business Woman Is Bride of Charlotte Man

Cards reading as follows were issued yesterday:

“Mr. and Mrs. Columbus Brown Davis announce the marriage of their daughter, Mary Elizabeth, to Mr. Robert Reese Griffin, on Wednesday evening, November twenty-fourth, nineteen hundred and twenty-six, Charlotte, North Carolina. At home after November twenty-ninth, 1703 Belle Terra Court, Charlotte, N. C.”

Miss Davis, young business woman of the city, is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Davis, of Mount Mourne, Iredell county. She was educated at Mt. Amoena seminary at Mt. Pleasant. For some years she was a teacher in the Mecklenburg county schools and a member of the Mecklenburg County Teachers’ association. Mr. Griffin, member of a widely-known family of this section, is a native of Monroe, but has been in business in Charlotte for some time.
