Mrs. Emma Julia Derrick Howard, 87, died.

Born in North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Patrick Henry Elmore and Ellen Geiger Derrick. She was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. today in Greenlawn Memorial Park, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Robert Sims.
