MISS LAUREL DRY AND MR. GUY LIPE QUIETLY MARRIED

CONCORD, Dec. 10. – Guy Lipe and Miss Laurel Dry were quietly married at St. John;s parsonage on December 3, Rev. L. D. Miller officiating. Mrs. Lipe is the youngest daughter of Mrs. E. S. Dry and is an accomplished blonde of marked beauty. She wore a beautiful tan crepe dress with accessories to match. After graduating from Mont Amoena seminary she has taught successfully in the public schools of Rowan and Cabarrus counties. Mr. Lipe is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Lipe of Mt. Pleasant.

Mr. and Mrs Lipe will make their home in Mt. Pleasant.

NORTH CAROLINA DEATHS

Mrs. Laurel Dry Lindsey

92, retired registered nurse, died Jan. 22, 1994, at Cardinal Care of Odell. Funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wilkinson’s Funeral Home. Visitation is 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Surviving is her daughter, Mrs. Ellen Coward of Charlotte.
