Miss Lottye Halfacre
NEWBERRY – Miss Lottye Lee Halfacre, 86, of 1518 Harrington St., a retired school teacher, died Monday.

A native of Newberry County, daughter of the late Benjamin and Ann Sease Halfacre, she was a graduate of Mont Amoena College in Mt. Pleasant, N. C., had taught in Newberry County for 37 years, was a member of Newberry County Reitired Teachers Association and a member of Clayton Memorial Unitarian Universalist Church.

Surviving are four sisters, Mr.s Ethel Feagle, Mrs. Eunice Cook, Mrs. Mattie Sterling and Mrs. Christine Burns of Newberry; and a brother, John H. Halfacre of Newberry.
