Hedrick Captures Piedmont Honors – At Starmount
The Piedmont Women’s Golf Association held a play-day tourney yesterday at Starmount with Elizabeth Hedrick of High Pint sweeping low gross honors in the first flight with a score of 84 and Mrs. George Corcoran of Greensboro capturing low net with 75.

Hedrick Claims Piedmont Golf Win At Durham
DURHAM, Aug 28 – Miss Elizabeth Hedrick of Winston-Salem won low gross honors with an 82 in the Piedmont Women’s Golf Association tournament played over the Duke University course here today.

HIGH POINT – Mrs. Elizabeth Christine (Lib) Hedrick, 79, of 2122 Eastchester Ridge Drive died Wednesday at High Point Regional Hospital.

Funeral was to be 2 p.m. today at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Entombment was to be in Guilford Memorial Park Mausoleum.

She was a native of Rowan County, a homemaker and an amateur golfer.

Surviving is sister, Mrs. Lora Nahoun of Greensboro.

Sechrest Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
