Announcement has been made of the approaching marriage of Miss Mary Holman, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. M. K. Holman, of Creston, S. C. to Mr. Charles M. Perrow, of Lynchburg, Va. The marriage will take place November 1st in St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Creston, S. C.

MARRIAGE OF MR. PERROW.

Lynchburg Merchant Weds at Creston, South Carolina.

Mr. Charles M. Perrow, vice-president of the firm of Perrow-Evans Hardware Company, of this city, and Miss Mary Holman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. K. Holman, were married on Wednesday last at Creston, S. C. The ceremony took place at the St. Mathews Lutheran church in that place.

Mr. T. P. Williams, of Gladys, was the best man, and Miss Carrie Riley, of Creston, was the maid of honor. Little Miss Louise Holman, a niece of the bride, was the ring bearer. The bride was given away by her father.

After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Perrow left on a Northern tour, which will include Washington, Philadelphia and New York, after which they will return to Lynchburg. They will be at home about November 15th at No. 2700 Fifth street.

The bride is said to be a very attractive and popular young lady at her home, and Mr. Perrow is a well-known and progressive business man, who is deservedly popular in his home city.

Mrs. Charles M. Perrow

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Holman Perrow, 76, widow of C. M. Perrow, who died early yesterday morning in Memorial Hospital, will be conducted from Diuguid Memorial Chapel today at 4 p.m. with burial in Spring Hill Cemetery.

She was born in Calhoun County, S. C., June 24, 1878, and was the daughter of the late Dr. Melchior K. and Emma Moss Holman. She resided at 35 Huron Ave. She was a member of Court Street Methodist Church and of the Lynchburg Woman’s Club. She was lso a member of Wesley Society of Christian Service and Wesley Service Guild, and was active in art activities there.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Paul C. Bowles, and two grandchildren, Paula C. and Elizabeth P. Bowles; one sister, Mrs. Nannie C. Perrow of Alta Vista, Va., and one brother, William C. Holman of Darlington, South Carolina.
