Varnville, May 12 – Mrs. Addie Jenny Coleman, 60, wife of Dr. J. F. Coleman, died at her home here early this morning after an extended illness. She was the daughter of J. D. Jenny and the late Mrs. Kearse Jenny. Her many friends in this and other sections of the state will regret to learn of her death.

Funeral services will be conducted at St Nicholas Lutheran Church at 3 o’clock Friday afternoon with the Rev. Albert Stimmerman officiating, assisted by the Rev. J. W. Swindell and the Rev. O. S. Ulmer. Interment will follow in the churchyard cemetery.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Coleman is survived by her father, J. D. Jenny, Fairfax; five daughters, Mrs. Herman Hortz [Hartz], Ridgeland; Mrs. Clyde Arnold, Mobile, Ala.; Mrs. George Plough, Charleston, and Misses Ethel and Jenny Coleman, Varnville; five sisters, Mrs. Joe L. Folk, Mrs. R. J. Ficken, Mrs. J. D. Livingston, Miss Sadie Ray Jenny, Fairfax, and Mrs. W. A. Rast, Cameron. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Clyde Coleman Arnold and Miss Shirley Plough.
