Varnville, May 12 – Mrs. Addie Jenny Coleman, 60, wife of Dr John Francis Coleman, died at her home here early this morning after an extended illness. She was the daughter of John Daniel Jenny and the late Mrs Elizabeth Kearse Jenny. Her many friends in this and other sections of the state will regret to learn of her death.

Funeral services will be conducted at St Nicholas Lutheran Church at 3 o’clock Friday afternoon. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.

Besides her husband, Mrs Coleman is survived by her father, John Daniel Jenny, Fairfax; five daughters, Mrs Zenith Coleman Hartz [Herman C Hartz], Ridgeland; Mrs Clyde Arnold, Mobile, Alabama; Mrs Francena Coleman Plough [George Plough], Charleston, Miss Ethel Coleman and Miss Jenny Coleman, Varnville; five sisters, Mrs Joe L Folk, Mrs R J Ficken, Mrs J D Livingston, Miss Sadie Ray Jenny, Fairfax, and Mrs W A Rast, Cameron. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Clyde Coleman Arnold and Miss Shirley Plough.
