MRS. REBECCA J. FICKEN
Ehrhardt – Mrs Rebecca Jenny Ficken, 99, widow of Carl F. W. Ficken Sr, died Saturday at the Lowman home in White Rock.
Born in Allendale County, she was a daughter of the late John Daniel and Louisa Kearse Jenny. She was a church organist for a number of years.
Surviving are three sons, Carl F. W. Ficken Jr. of North Augusta, J. Wyman Ficken of Decatur, Ga., and Herbert C Ficken of Atlanta; two daughters, Mrs. L. M. (Lois) Cherry of Meridian, Miss., and Mrs. B. T. (Helen) Bishop of Ehrhardt; a half sister, Mrs. John D. Livingston of Fairfax; 14 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Nicholas Lutheran Church.
Smith Memorial Funeral Home of Allendale is in charge.
