A telegram from Prof. C. L. Fisher of Mount Pleasant, received here this morning announced the dangerous illness of Mrs. Kliffmuller, art teacher at Mt. Amoena Seminary. A second telegram stated that her condition was alarming. Mrs. J. F. Young, daughter of Mrs. Kliffmuller left for Mount Pleasant to attend her. Mrs. W. H. Neave, sister of the sick lady was prevented from going on account of being unwell.

Mrs. Matilda Kliffmuller Dead.
Salisbury, Feb. 13. – Mrs. Matilda Kliffmuller died this afternoon following a general decline due to old age. She was 84 years old. Mrs. Kliffmuller was a native of Hesse Germany. She was the widow of a Confederate officer. For 35 years she had made her home with Mrs. T. F. Young in this city. Mrs. Young being her only surviving daughter. Practically all her life Mrs. Kliffmuller has been a music teacher.
