MRS. LORA L. BROWN
SALISBURY – Sept. 23 – Mrs. Lora Lingle Brown, 88, of Salisbury, died this morning at Rowan Memorial Hospital. She was born in Rowan County, attended Mont Amoena Female Seminary at Mount Pleasant and taught school in Rowan County for several years. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Survivors: four sons, Olney J., Stanley C., J. Clement and G. Kenneth Brown, all of Salisbury; three sisters, Mrs. M. A. Kluttz of Route 5, Salisbury, Mrs. George Lyerly and Mrs. R. L. Lyerly, both of Salisbury; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
