Miss Lowder Wed to Mr. McCorkle
Mt. Pleasant Girl and Asheville Man are Married Here, Dr. Orr Officiating.

The marriage of Miss Ruth Lowder of Mt. Pleasant and Douglas McCorkle of Asheville was quietly solemnized in this city yesterday at noon, Rev. Ernest N. Orr officiating.

The bride was attired in a brown and white sports suit with accessories to match an wore a shoulder corsage of talisman rose buds. The bride is the attractive daughter of Mrs. J. Frank Lowder of Mt. Pleasant, and is a graduate of Mont Amoena Seminary and later attended Catawba college and was graduated from Asheville Mission hospital.

Mr. McCorkle is the  son of Mrs. Margaret McCorkle of Asheville and the present time holds a position in Asheville.

After a motor trip east Mr. and Mrs. McCorkle will be at home at 6 Charlotte street, Asheville.
