HURT IN AUTO ACCIDENT
Mr. J. Albert Miller, of Davie County, Injured When Car Runs Off Bridge

Mr. J. Albert Miller, of Davie county, was very painfully inured Saturday afternoon in an automobile accident between this city and Mt. Pleasant. He was in an automobile full of people, on their way to Mt. Pleasant, where they were taking his daughter, Miss Katherine, to re-enter Mont Amoena Seminary. Miss Katherine was driving the car. As they reached Misenheimer Branch, about five miles from Concord, in attempting to avoid a hole in the road, the young lady ran off the bridge, the car plunging to the stream about fifteen feet below. In the fall Mr. Miller was thrown against a tree, sustaining some painful bruises. At the Concord Hospital, where he was brought, it was stated later that he was not seriously injured, though the bruises are painful. All the other occupants of the car escaped practically unhurt with the exception of a few scratches.
