Mr. Myron Fisher, son of Mr. M. G. M. Fisher, and Miss Cora Bell Misenheimer, were married Sunday, Rev. R. L. Brown officiating, at the latter’s residence.

…In 1919 he [Myron Charles Melanchthon Fisher] joined the staff of the Salisbury Hardware Co. where he continued to work until his tragic death May 3, 1954. Through no fault of his own or of his wife (who was driving), he was killed in an automobile wreck at the intersection of Main and Fisher Streets in Salisbury…

…On May 7, 1911, he married Miss Cora Belle Misenheimer, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Misenheimer. She was educated in the Mt. Amoena Seminary Schools. She was a dedicated wife, devoted to her husband and sons. Her three sons, all college graduates bear testimony to her sense of the values of life.

ROCKWELL – Mrs. Myron C. Fisher Sr., 71, of Salisbury, Rt. e, died Tuesday at her home. Funeral 11 a.m. Friday at Faith Lutheran Church.

Survivors: sons, John H. Fisher of Kannapolis, George A. Fisher of Raleigh, Myron C. Fisher Jr. of Charlotte, brother, Roscoe D. Misenheimer of Salisbury, Rt. 2; sisters, Miss Joan C. Misenheimer, Miss Daisy A .Misenheimer, both of Charlotte, Mrs. Cecil A. Petrea of China Grove.
