Miss Neussman

MT. PLEASANT – Miss Lilly Margaret Neussman, 89, died Saturday at Lutheran Home, Albemarle, following three years of declining health.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity by the Rev. Donald Deal. Burial will be in St. Stephens Lutheran Church cemetery.

The body will remain at Gordon Peninger Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant, until taken to the church at the funeral hour. The family will receive friends at the funeral hour. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 7 p.m.

Memorials may be sent to the N. C. Lutheran Home, Albemarle, or to the Sister Miriam Bible class of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity.

Born April 13, 1889 in Mt. Pleasant, Miss Neussman was the daughter of the late Adam Neussman and Mrs. Ellen Kluttz Neussman. She was a retired seamstress and a life-long member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity. She graduated from Mt. Amoena Seminary in 1909.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. William “Maude” Miller of Miami, Fla. and a number of nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Max Drye of Kannapolis.
