ODELL-PAGE
Popular St. Paul Couple Wedded at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Mr. E. R. Odell and Miss Viola Mae Page, of the St. Paul community, in the county, were married at the home of the bride at 5 o’clock Saturday afternoon, The ceremony was performed by Rev. M. L. Canup, of High Point, assisted by Rev. M. L. Ridenhour, pastor of Bethel and St. Paul Lutheran churches. Only a few close relatives were present.

The home was handsomely decocorated for the occasion and the bride was a picture of beauty in her bridal costume.

The young couple leave on No. 38 tonight for Washington where Mr. Odell holds a responsible position with a street car company and where they will make their home.

Mr. Odell is a Rowan boy who has already shown himself worthy of trust. Mrs. Odell is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Page, a graduate of Mont Amoena Seminary, Mt. Pleasant, and is a lovely young lady. She taught school the past season at Glenwood, near Greensboro.

Both of the young people are justly popular and have many friends who will extend them hearty congratulations.
