MRS. MABEL RUDISILL BARNHART

Durham, NC…Mrs. Mabel Rudisill Barnhart, of 2839 Stuart Drive, Durham, died Monday, March 5, 1984, at 11 AM in the Coble Health Center in Durham. She was born and reared in Maiden, NC. Mrs. Barnhart was educated in private and pubic schools in Catawba County and Lenoir Rhyne College. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Durham, the Francis Asbury Sunday School Class and a member and Past president of the United Methodist Women. She was also Past President of the Durham Women’s Club, and moved to Durham in 1951 from Henderson, NC. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday in the Trinity United Methodist Church, Durham, with Dr. Belton Joyner officiating. Internment will be at 4 PM in the East View Cemetery in Newton, NC. Surviving are her husband, Mr. Frank M. Barnhart; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur P. Harris and Mrs. Ruth Thorne, both of  Charlotte. Contributions may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church, Durham, NC 27701.
