MRS. CAUBLE
SALISBURY – Mrs. Pearl Safrit Cauble, 92, who made her home at the N. C. Lutheran Home here, died Sunday afternoon at Rowan Memorial Hospital. She had been in declining health for three months.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, of which she was a member. The Rev. Floyd W. Bost will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The body will remain at Summersett Funeral Home until taken to the church at the funeral hour. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 until 9 p.m. today, and the remainder of the time will be at the home of a son, Myron L. Cauble, 201 Wiley Ave.
Mrs. Cauble was a native of Rowan County, daughter of the late Rufus Safrit and Mrs. Sallie Sifford Safrit. She was educated in the Rowan County Schools and at Mt. Amoena Seminary, Mt. Pleasant. Her husband, Luther C. Safrit, died July 30, 1958.
Surviving are twovsons, Myron L. Cauble of Salisbury and the Rev. Herman W. Cauble of Columbia, S. C.; one daughter, Mrs. George F. Schott of Columbia, S. C.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
