Dr. Barringer is the son of our townsman, Rev. Paul Barringer, a graduate of the Baltimore College of Dentistry and now located at Sumter, SC. Miss Sandel is well known here, having spent four years at Mont Amoena Seminary, and is a member of the class of 1903.

Mrs. Barringer, Sumter, Dies in Tennessee
Mrs. George Richter Barringer of Sumter died in Nashville, Tenn, at 1:30 a.m. today.
Before marriage she was Miss Felicia Sandel, daughter of Mrs. Minnie Mack and William Carson Sandel. She was born in 1884 at Fort Motte and lived there until married in 1906. After marriage she lived in Sumter until three years ago.
Mrs. Barringer is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bennett A. Moore (Gladys) of Cheraw and Mrs. W. H. Tanksley (Billie) of Nashville, Tenn.
The body will arrive at Hurst Funeral home in Sumter on July 13 and the funeral will be Thursday. The time will be announced later.
