MT. PLEASANT STUDENT DEAD
Miss Ella Belle Stirewalt, a Student of Mont Amoena Seminary, Died This Morning at 8:20 O’clock – Remains to be Buried Tomorrow at Ebenezer in Rowan.

Mt. Pleasant, Jan. 27. – Miss Ella Belle Stirewalt, a student of Mont Amoena Seminary, died this morning at 8:20 o’clock after an illness of several days which developed into typhoid pneumonia. Miss Stirewalt was a second year student and a sister of Miss Ada Stirewalt, a member of the Seminary faculty, another brother, Mr. Hamp Stirewalt, is a student of the Collegiate Institute. She was the daughter of Mr. A. M. Stirewalt, of China Grove, and was about 20 years of age. She is survived by 4 sisters and 5 brothers. Special services will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o’clock, attended by students of both Seminary and the Collegiate Institute. The remains will be taken to the home of the young lady at Ebenezer church in Rowan county near China Grove. The death of this popular young lady has cast a gloom over the entire town and at the Seminary there is much sorrow among associates of deceased.
