The people of this place and surrounding country (including Concord), especially the young people, learned long ago that a treat is always in store when a recital is to be given at the seminary. But on last Friday night, which was the occasion of the Junior Class recital, their highest anticipations fell far short of what the exercises really were. Not only was the program of the very highest order, but it was rendered faultlessly. The young ladies are certainly to be heartily congratulated for such an excellent entertainment. And oh! that music! ‘Twas of the patriotic, soul stirring kind, the kind that makes you feel as though you would embrace everybody if you could. After the exercises the reception followed and of course, was hugely enjoyed by all; even the small boy peering through the darkness on the outside seemed to be filled with delight. How long will it be till the next?
