Orangeburg, July 20 – In the presence of a few friends Miss Julia Von Ohsen became the bride of J. Eugene Bickley Monday afternoon at 4 o’clock at the Methodist parsonage, the Rev. T. G. Herbert officiating. After the ceremony the bridal party went to the home of Mrs. George Dorrill on Whitman street, where refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Bickey left shortly afterward in their car for a trip to the mountains of North Carolina.
The bride is the attractive and accomplished daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Von Ohsen, Sr., who by her charming manner has won for herself a host of friends who wish for her and Mr. Bickley many years of happy wedded life.
Mrs. Bickley is a graduate in music of Mont Amoena seminary, Mount Pleasant, N. C. and Elizabeth college, Salem, Va., and is conducting a music studio here. The bridegroom is originally form Lexington but is now located in Columbia with a well established tobacco firm.
Mr. and Mrs. Bickley, on their return, will make their home with the sister of the bride, Mrs. George Dorrill, on Whitman Street.
