MRS. MYRTLE STONE

SALUDA — Mrs. Myrtle Wertz Stone, 90, died Wednesday in Lowman Home in White Rock.

The widow of Gregg E. Stone, she was born in Saluda County, a daughter of the late Jacob L. and Alice Maffett Wertz. Mrs. Stone was a member of DAR and American Legion auxiliary and past president of the missionary society of Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church.

Funeral services will be today at 3 p.m. in Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church with burial in Travis Park cemetery.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ethelyn Parkman of Greenwood; two sons, M. Earle Stone of Saluda and F. Kenneth Stone of Columbia; and a sister, Mrs. C. B. (Carrie) Livingston of Lexington.

The family suggests that those who wish may make memorials to the Lowman Home.
