Former Columbia Woman Dies

Word has been received in Columbia of the death of Mrs. Rosa Wyse Burton of Hattiesburg, Miss., yesterday.

Mrs. Burton, 78, was the widow of John T. Burton and daughter of the late Allen M. and Marilla Riser Wyse of Columbia.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Herbert Hemeter of Hattiesburg, Mrs. Rufus Huddleston of Chula, Miss., Mrs. Carl Thompson of Mobile, Ala., and Mrs. Edward Helm of Jackson, Miss.; two sons, John Burton of Mobile and Robert Burton of Charleston, W. Va.; one brother, J. H. Wyse of Richmond, Va., and two sisters, Mrs. V. Y. Boozer of White Rock and Mrs. C. E. Norman of Monroe, N. C.

Funeral services will be held at Hattiesburg today.
