Barnhardt-Barringer.

Rev. Charles C. Barnhardt and Miss Emma C. Barringer, of No. 8 township, were married last Tuesday evening. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride’s father, Mr. Jno. D. Barringer, by Rev. Paul Barringer. Mr. Barnhardt is a son of Mr. John H. Barnhardt, of No. 8, and recently graduated at Trinity College with high honors. He is a promising young minister, and has received an appointment as pastor of a Methodist church in Oklahoma. His bride is a trained nurse, and a young woman of many fine traits of character. Mr. and Mrs. Barnhardt left at once for their new home in Oklahoma.

Mrs. Anna Buhlig and Mrs. Emma Barnhardt are new residents at Turrentine Hall at the Methodist Home [Marionville]. Mrs. Buhlig formerly lived at Blackburn, Mo., while Mrs. Barnhardt came from New Mexico where she has been spending some time with her son at White Sands Proving Grounds.

MRS. EMMA BARNHARDT

MARIONVILLE—Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Bradford-Surridge Chapel for Mrs. Emma Barnhardt, 79, who died at 11:40 a.m. Monday in the Aurora Community Hospital where she had been a patient the past four days.

Mrs. Barnhardt has been a resident of Ozark Methodist Manor since 1955, moving here from Fredericktown. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are a son, Dr. C. C. Barnhardt of Bernie; and two grandsons.

The Rev. A. W. Kirby will be officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at St. Charles.
