Miss Dantzler

WHITMIRE – Miss Virginia Dantzler, 79, died Thursday night at a White Rock nursing home after several months of illness.

Born and reared in Orangeburg County, daughter of the late Henry I. and Josephine Fogle Dantzler, she was a member of St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Augusta Franklin of Newberry.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church by Rev. N. D. Yount and Rev. Kenneth Webb. Burial will be in Beth Eden Lutheran Church cemetery near Newberry.

Pallbearers will be nephews.

The body is at the home of Robert Baker on O’Dell Street and will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Abrams Funeral Home is in charge.
