Mrs. J. H. Hucks
EHRHARDT – Mrs. Cloe [Chloe] Groseclose Hucks, widow of Dr. John H. Hucks, died Saturday at a Charleston hospital.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the Ehrhardt Memorial Lutheran Church. Burial was in the Ehrhardt Cemetery.
Mrs. Hucks was a Sunday school teacher, choir leader, member of the Eastern Star and had held several offices in th Woodmen of the World.
She was president of the Bratton-Jenkins Chapter of the UDC and was former president of the United Lutheran Church Women.
She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. W. F. Hiers of Charleston, Mrs. S. B. Bowers of Columbia an Mrs. Lula E. Copeland of Ehrhardt and a number of nieces and nephews.
