Miss Heilig

MT. PLEASANT – Funeral services for Miss Bess Barirer [sic] Heilig, a retired school teacher, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

Rev. George Phillips, pastor, will officiate, and internment will follow in th church cemetery. The body will remain at Gordon-Peninger Funeral Home until time for the rites, ad the family will receive friends there from 7 until 9 p.m. today.

Miss Heilig, 76, died at 8:15 a.m. Thursday at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital.

Daughter of the late C. J. Heilig, and Mrs. Emma Barrier Heilig, Miss Heilig was a life-long resident of Mt. Pleasant.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Roy C. Peterson of Charlotte and Mrs. Edgar D. Skinner of Rocky Mount; several nieces and nephews.
