LINN FUNERAL TO BE HELD IN NORTH STATE
Funeral services for Miss Lucille Linn, who died Sunday morning at the Baptist hospital after a long illness, will be held at 4 o’clock Monday afternoon from Holy Trinity Lutheran church, Mount Pleasant, M. C., by the Rev. J. W. Link, pastor. Interment will be at the churchyard. The funeral party left McCormick’s mortuary at 10 o’clock.
Miss Linn taught for a number of years in the graded schools of Salisbury N. C. She came here two years ago and made her home at the Y. W. C. A. She was the daughter of the rev. J. A. Linn, who was principal for several years of Mount Amoena Seminary for Girls, Mount Pleasant, N. C. and professor at the old North Carolina college.
She is survived by er step-mother, Mrs. Mary C. Linn of Savannah Ga. three half-brothers the Rev. C. A. Linn, pastor of the Lutheran Church of the Ascension Savannah, Ga. and also president of the Georgia and Alabama Lutheran synod; the Rev. John K. Linn, professor of New Testament, Tokyo Lutheran seminary, Tokyo, Japan, and the Rev. J. A. Linn, missionary, Moji, Japan.
