Former School Teacher Dies in Columbia
Mrs. Anabel Riser Willingham, 88, of 3310 Murray St, widow of William T. Willingham, died Friday at her home. Mrs. Willingham was born in Saluda County, daughter of the late John Elbert and Mamie Riser. She was educated in the Saluda County schools and the Lutheran Mont Amoena Seminary, Mt. Pleasant, NC. She taught in South Carolina schools for a number of years. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Incarnation and a life member of the Afternoon Group of the Lutheran Church Women. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. D. B. Harrington of Monroe, NC. Services will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday in Elmwood Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. M. Paul L. Morgan. Dunbar Funeral Home is in charge.
