In a simple wedding at the parsonage of the Methodist church at Mt. Pleasant, Saturday morning, Miss Wilma Pauline Tucker and William Edward Kestler were united in marriage, Rev. J. S. Gibbs, pastor of the bride, officiating.

Mrs. Kestler is the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Thomas E. Tucker, of Mount Pleasant.

Mr. Kestler is connected with the Concord Observer Printing company. He is the son of G. Ed. Kestler, Concord postmaster, and the late Mrs. Ida Weddington Kestler.

After a brief honeymoon trip to western Carolina, Mr. and Mrs. Kestler will reside in Mount Pleasant.

KANNAPOLIS – Mrs. Wilma Tucker Kestler, 77, a retired teacher, died Sunday. Funeral is 3 p.m. today at Hartsell Funeral Home chapel, Concord.

Survivors are husband, William; son, Lt. Col. William E. Kestler Jr. of Redondo Beach, Calf.; sister, Mrs. Alma Tucker Price.
